| Ornella De Martinis was born in Portici (Napoli) in 1970. She studied at Art Liceo and Art Academy in Naples where she graduated in decorative arts in 1991. |
Among the teachers who played an influential role on her artistic growth are: Mario Persico,Giuseppe Pirozzi, Enrico Bugli, Mimmo Jodice, Anna Romanello ed art critic Giorgio Di Genova.
Since her artistic studies she exhibited her works of painting,graphic and chalcographic engraving at one-man and group exhibitions.
After attending the course of restoration by Prof. MarioTatafiore at Art Academy in Naples, she worked as restorerat main artistic sites as: Caserta Royal Palace, Museo di Capodimonte and Castel Nuovo in Naples, and archaeologicalsites of Pompeii and Stabiae.
Since 1999 she has been taking part to educational projects< for artistic production in the schools and in 2001 she qualified as an art and drawing teacher.
She lives and works in Portici, near Naples (Italy).
