''pARTEnopei to gallery MIMART ''
In the wake of symbols, this time philosophical, mystical-that looks out the eye even at the thought Eastern sui generis, the works of ORNELLA DE MARTINIS, undeniably aesthetic value, in which the artist is almost a reverse path than usual: the shape and dominant motif seems to take inspiration for using experimental techniques and colours. So, acrylic, malte sludge, marble dust, sand and gold and silver shades are the canvas with primary colours and subtle as the white and blue, with a warm and relaxing effect.

I was there ... Art in Villa Savonarola Portici This is the title of one of the paintings on display until 2 June 2007 at villa Savonarola of the artist Ornella De Martinis. Attentive connoisseur and expert of the quality of materials, has been able to melt the physicality of some of these as the sand and the colours of the earth with a deep work of introspection and research, trying to re-create on canvas concentric evolutions, undefined, and not always on the move searching for something, perhaps the balance. Emblematic is the series "Chakra" seven paintings, like the seven points of psychophysical well-being. Chakra in Sanskrit means circle, circumference then balance, harmony or at least the search for an internal and external stability. All paintings from this series represent circles or swirls, several chromaticities melt together without losing sharpness and clarity of the colors. The techniques used are mixed on wood, also for other exhibited paintings. The painter is originally from Portici and studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples, and among his recent exposures to which participated there is "paintings and Sculptures" Gallery Mimart of Naples and "Sacrart" in San Giorgio a Cremano. You can visit the exhibition at Villa Savonarola Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and from 16 to 20, while Sundays only from 10 to 13, until 2 June.

Ornella De Martinis was born in Portici (Na) in 1970. Attends the Liceo Artistico Statale and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples where develops its qualities of sensitive and end observer and connoisseur of quality materials. This tendency arises and it amplifies, now, in his later works that melt the materiality of the sand and thickness to the Ethereal color game that characterizes the evolutions of the movement. The sense of Vertigo that give off her paintings is both magnet and centrifuge of feelings, sometimes caresses, other swirls involving the gaze.

"Spring porticesi: paintings on display at Villa Savonarola"
Portici. Villa Savonarola as suggestive setting exposure of Ornella De Martinis. Yesterday, the Councillor for culture, Vincenzo Arciello, inaugurated the staff of the artist, which falls in the appointments of the third edition of "Springs porticesi". Sixteen works, which will remain on display until 2 June at Corso Garibaldi (Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and from 16 to 20, while the Sunday morning opening only). A crowd of fans visited already in the first day of the exhibition, which met with considerable success. Among the seven plates also works inspired by the seven chakras vortices emanating energy according to the spiritual tradition of India. Two of these works are made using gold leaf and silver. Ornella De Martinis, born 1970, he attended the liceo artistico statale and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples, where he developed its qualities of sensitive and end observer and connoisseur of quality materials. A trend that is then amplified in its latest works that melt the materiality of the sand and thickness to the Ethereal play of colours that characterizes the evolutions of the movement.
The sense of Vertigo that give off her paintings is both magnet and centrifuge of feelings, sometimes caresses, other swirls involving the gaze.

From the center to the circumference, from the bottom to the surface, from white to the sharpening polychrome, emerges the path suffered from an artist in search of the essence, of encounter and the synthesis between the I and the world, between the inside and the outside, between the endless possibilities of being and the angustie, sweltering, esser-ci.
Like a stone launched draws water circles, but invola looking of the deep.
